Piping

Piping helps teams build a data-driven approach to spec-driven piping in Creo Parametric. CadActive does not replace Creo Piping; it makes specs, fittings, routing, and piping deliverables easier to configure, govern, and automate.

What you can do depends on your platform tier.

What it includes

• Synchronize — managed catalogs for specs, fittings, pipes, and linestock; synchronized piping data; import of schematic or logical connectivity.

• Standardize — spec-driven design rules, templates, Fitting / Equipment / Design Manager workflows, and validation before routing or release.

• Automate — auto-routing of spec-compliant pipe runs, automated fitting/bend/miter placement, and isometrics, BOMs, and database reports from the model.

Piping owns 3D routed piping. Schematics can supply the 2D P&ID or logical data that drives it.
