Schematics
2D P&IDs and electrical schematics synchronized with Creo, driving downstream piping and cabling.
Schematics helps teams author 2D logical designs — P&IDs and electrical diagrams — that stay aligned with the 3D model and can drive downstream routing. CadActive does not replace Creo Schematics; it makes symbol catalogs, environments, and schematic generation easier to govern and automate.
What you can do depends on your platform tier.
What it includes
Synchronize — shared symbol libraries, Creo Schematics environment settings, and schematic-to-3D connectivity kept in sync both ways.
Standardize — symbol, naming, parameter, note, layer, and template rules, plus validation before handoff.
Automate — generate or regenerate diagrams from structured data (Excel, JSON, XML, NWF), and push connectivity into piping and cabling without re-entry.
Schematics owns 2D logical authoring. Cabling and Piping own the 3D routed-system work that consumes that data.
How-tos for Schematics tools will be added here.
