Configure language settings

Set the Windows list separator to a comma so CadActive CSV files import correctly.

Windows regional settings control the list separator used in CSV files. In some locales that separator is a semicolon, which does not match CadActive CSV exports and imports (they use commas). If catalogs, designation maps, or other CSVs look like a single column or fail to load, check this setting.

Set the list separator to a comma

  1. Open the Start menu, type region settings, and open it.

  2. Select Additional date, time, & regional settings (usually in the top-right on Windows 10; on Windows 11, open Related settings / Additional date, time, & regional settings if shown).

  3. Under Region, select Change date, time, or number formats.

  4. Select Additional Settings….

  5. On the Numbers tab, set List separator to a comma ,.

  6. Select OK / Apply, then restart Creo and try the CSV again.

This is a Windows setting for the user account, not a CadActive file. Changing it can affect other applications that expect a semicolon list separator — confirm with your IT team if that is a concern.
