Cabling

Managed catalogs, logical data, and automation for Creo Cabling harnesses, wires, and connectors.

Cabling helps teams build a data-driven approach to electrical routed systems in Creo Parametric. CadActive does not replace Creo Cabling; it makes catalogs, logical data, routing, and harness deliverables easier to maintain and automate.

You need a Cabling license. What you can do depends on your platform tier. Organization admins change shared options under Settings for Cabling. Batch AutoRouting is on Cabling Command Line.

Cabling owns 3D routed-system work in Creo. Schematics owns the 2D logical diagrams that can drive that work. Placing connectors from a file is AutoAssemble (Automate), not a Cabling ribbon command.
