Model Overview Report

Export mass properties, counts, and bounding-box extents for each solid in a part or assembly.

Model Overview Report writes one row per input solid: mass properties, feature/surface/edge counts, bounding-box extents, and optional extra model parameters.

Current model: part or assembly. Assemblies also include unique children. A current drawing can contribute its drawing solids when the report is already running.

How to run it

Default format is Excel or CSV from Settings for Reporting. Interactive runs open Save Output File.

MODEL_NAME

Creo model name.

MODEL_TYPE

Part or assembly.

UNIT_SYSTEM

Model unit system.

MASS, VOLUME, SURFACE_AREA

Mass properties of the solid.

DENSITY, MP_DENSITY, PRO_MP_DENSITY, PRO_MP_ALT_DENSITY

Density values from the model and mass-property parameters.

N_FEATURES, N_SURFACES, N_EDGES

Counts on the solid.

CENTER_OF_GRAVITY_X/Y/Z

Center of gravity.

BOUNDING_BOX_1_X/Y/Z, BOUNDING_BOX_2_X/Y/Z, BOUNDING_BOX_DELTA_X/Y/Z

Outline corners and extents.

A MATERIAL column is present. Extra parameter columns are added when your organization has a Parameter Profile named Model Overview Report.
