Config Profiles
Named Creo environments for your organization: config options plus mapkeys, defined in the web app and applied in Creo.
A config profile is a named Creo environment for your organization. It stores the config options you would otherwise keep in a local config.pro, plus mapkeys from a shared library, so seats start with the same setup instead of leftover files on a workstation.
CAD admins define and maintain profiles in the CadActive web app. Engineers apply them in Creo with Set Config Profile. Download and Upload are two tabs of that one command — not separate products.
Config profiles control how Creo launches. They do not put conventions into the model. That is Standardize (templates, notes, identifiers, Designator).
What a profile contains
Config options — Creo configuration settings, grouped in the same categories as Creo’s own config editor. Only values you set are stored on the profile.
Mapkeys — organization mapkeys associated with the profile. Mapkeys live in a shared library under Synchronize → Mapkeys; several profiles can reuse the same mapkey.

What is not in Config Profiles
Designator (naming components, designation maps) is in Standardize, including the command line.
Validate Mapkeys and Mapkey Cheatsheet appear under Tools in the Creo dialog but are Coming Soon — they are not shipped.
Upload from Creo always creates a new profile with a unique name. It does not overwrite an existing profile.
There is no command-line upload. Use the Creo Upload tab, then refine the profile in the web app.
