Multiple Levels of Configuration Files

How Creo loads configuration settings from company-wide, installation, and user locations at startup.

Creo can load configuration settings from multiple locations during startup, allowing organizations to establish company-wide standards while still supporting installation-specific and user-specific settings. Understanding these different configuration levels is especially important for CAD administrators, since the location of a setting can determine whether it is applied globally, overridden later in the startup process, or controlled so users cannot change it.

PTC provides a detailed explanation of the different configuration files, where Creo looks for them, and the order in which they are loaded.
