Compare Logical Data

Compare Creo Schematics XML logical data to the current cabling harness (components, connectors, splices, spools, and routes).

Compare Logical Data is a Cabling report. It compares schematic logical data to the harness in the current assembly. The picker name is Compare Logical Data.

When to run it

Run it on a cabling assembly after logical data is imported and the harness exists. Use it to find components, connectors, splices, spools, or routes that are in the schematic but not the 3D design (or the other way around).

How to run it

What it compares

The report pairs schematic XML with the harness and checks:

  • Components

  • Splices

  • Spools

  • Routes (wires / cables)

The input file dialog is Creo Schematics XML. Neutral Wire Format and AutoCAD Electrical XML are not prompted in this report today.

note

This report does not publish a fixed column header list. Read the exported file for the comparison sections CadActive wrote for that run.
