Designated Components Report
Export a designation map of named assembly components — the same spreadsheet Designator File → Save writes.
The Designated Components Report is the designation map for the current assembly. It is the same spreadsheet Designator writes with File → Save. How to name components: Designate Components.
When to run it
Run it when you need a map of designations, component paths, and placement without opening Designate Components — for review, import later, or AutoAssemble / Geometry Copier inputs that consume designations. Assemblies only.
How to run it

Default file type is Excel (.xlsx); CSV is accepted. Location and format follow Settings for Reporting.

Feat # | Assembly component feature number. |
Component Path | Creo ID path from the top assembly. |
Model Name | Component model name. Required on import. |
Designation | Name applied by Designator. Required on import. |
Origin | Placement origin from the transformation setting. |
Rotation X | X rotation of that placement. |
Rotation Y | Y rotation of that placement. |
Rotation Z | Z rotation of that placement. |
