Model Template Report

Export which Standardize model template is assigned and counts of standard items on each model.

The Model Template Report shows which Standardize model template is assigned to each part or assembly and how many standard items that template expects (parameters, notes, views, layers, and related).

When to run it

Run it when you are checking template coverage before a release, or finding models that have no template. Models without a template still get a row. Assemblies include unique child models.

Generate a Report — pick Model Template Report.

Auto Export

Check this report in Auto Export, then Run Exports. See Auto Export.

Web

No web catalog. Define templates in the web app: Model Templates.

Default file type is Excel (.xlsx) with extra worksheets; CSV is accepted. Location and format follow Settings for Reporting.

MODEL_NAME

Creo model name.

MODEL_TYPE

prt or asm.

MODEL_TEMPLATE_NAME

Assigned Standardize template name.

MODEL_TEMPLATE_ID

Template id.

HAS_TEMPLATE

Whether a template is assigned.

N_STANDARD_*

Counts of standard parameters, notes, combined states, orientations, sections, simplified reps, layers, layer states, explode states, style states, appearance states, and features.

Excel also writes worksheets named Layers, Orientations, Parameters, and Notes with item-level detail for the same models.
